for everyone
Last night was the final class for the Pastoral Counseling class I took at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary Manila site.  This after a long time searching for a permanent home.  The site is located at The Raffles Bldg, Ortigas Center, Pasig.  It's a space shared with the Asia Pacific Media Ministries.

We had classes weekdays from 6PM - 10PM beginning June 4, 2k7 for two weeks.  It was insightful, spirit led, and fun!  It's a little sad that it has ended so soon.  Melvin Johnson taught from his heart.  Sure he had the experience and the expert degrees, but it was his heart that he shared which made it connect.  I wish we could've had more time to get to know the man beyond the message.  Hopefully in the near future.  Tomorrow will be the finals so better get some sleep.  It's supposed to take 2.5 hours at least :D

We had good mix in the class from an assistant district supt, a national youth director, a business man, campus workers, foreign missionaries, pioneering pastors and emerging leaders.  It was good to see the generations learning and laughing together.

I look forward to the September class on Leadership with Wayne Cagle, APTS President.  It should be good!   :D

Thank God for elders willing to mentor those of us in the emerging generation.  May your roots grow deeper and stronger.  May your branches stretch wider that many more be influenced and be raised up under your wings in honor of the King and His Kingdom!

for everyone

I was at Alliance Graduate Seminary from 9:30am until 1:00pm today for new students orientation. Yes, after pausing a year on my grad studies I have decided to press play. 2nd semester starts next week. I'll try to post some updates once we gt started.

the best part of the orientation was the FREE snacks (merienda) of course. Palabok, puto and your choice of coffee or juice.
