The ICA Worship Team was band #2 at the Philippine independence celebrations held at the Phil Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand.
The Kingdom of God was there as the team sang His praises with all their heart!

Pastor, has to do this every Sunday. We'll be glad when we move to a bigger venue and are able to congregate as one body and have one service. It's a good problem to have :D THANK YOU LORD FOR THE STRENGTH & THE PRIVILEGE!
Had an opportunity to see Bangkok from 300+ meters up on the Baiyoke Tower II, Thailand's tallest building. Have to come back at night one of these days, when the view of lights would just be awesome. On this hazy noon day, it was an endless sea of concrete buildings to the horizon. No hills or mountains in site. Wiki's take on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baiyoke_Tower_II

a weekly gathering of young followers of Jesus Christ in Bangkok City.
This morning Honorbound (ICA Men's Ministry) held a getting to know event for the men of ICA with special guests, the Blackwood Brothers quartet. This quartet has been around for nearly 75 years. The members have changed over the years but the reason for being has not that is to sing about Jesus. They sing gospel songs and hymns. It was a trip back to my childhood when I heard classics like, Rock of Ages and Leaning on the Everlasting Love being sung. More than the songs we we had a rare privilege of hearing stories about their personal journeys as followers of Jesus Christ. This made the time more meaningful. I saw these men not as professional singers and bigger than life Christians but ordinary people, frail like me and the other men in the room. The challenges they've faced and continue to face in life revealed their heart and how Jesus has made all the difference. It was a real treat. Had the opportunity of conversing with them over lunch and it was just a joy. Looking forward to the concert tomorrow @ ICA @ 9:30am. Hey if any of you are around the area then, come and join us and be encouraged. ______________________ ICA YOUTH NEW POSTS: http://icayouth.multiply.com/photos/album/4/UNtalent_nighthttp://icayouth.multiply.com/photos/album/5/FACES
Swensen's, another sign of globalization. In the tradition of Magnolia Ice-cream place in Quezon City back in the day. This is a popular desert tambayan here in Bangkok franchised from the USA.
