Blog Entryweb 2.0 the facebook experienceOct 12, '07 2:16 AM
for everyone
When Facebook was still in BETA a few months ago I signed up.  Didn't get much out of it since it was confined within the www limits of USA college & unis.  Last month my high school mate Solly B sent an email to our pomhi group and invited everyone to join.  Wasn't expecting much given the past experience but got me curious enough to check out who else from HS had signed up.  Long story short, I'm now a certified FB addict.

It's great tool for connecting with long lost buds who are using it.  What's addicting are the seemingly endless applications/add-ons one can use to make it a more interactive and entertaining experience.  A bit difficult to explain.  I suggest trying it for yourself to form your own opinion.  Look me up when your in :D

Blog Entry50 Coolest Websites for 2006 (according to TIME)Aug 22, '06 2:07 AM
for everyone

This is TIME's annual round up of the coolest websites.  A related article has the list of 25 Site we Can't Live Without.  Remembering of course that this is written with an American point of view and probabaly and american public in mind.  Which begs the question, is having an internet connection really that essential to life or living?  What's your take on that?  Feel free to rant...

I'm reminded of a recent documentary where some cultures are still enjoying life wihtout the inernet.  Of course their out of touch with the happenings around the world... But it didn't seem to hinder them enjoying life...
