CROSSLinC Christmas Party!
I need your help. I'll be meeting a group next week to brainstorm about the possibilities of creating a radio program for youth/young adults in the Philippines. We need some raw data to help us plan. Can you answer some of these questions? Post your answers by replying to this post. Thanks. - How old are you?
- Which part of the Philippines do you currently live in?
- Why do you listen to radio?
- Which band do you tune in more to AM/FM? Why?
- If you could create your own radio show on the FM band what would it be about?
- Which do you listen more to FM radio or your downloaded mp3s?

Congratulations to the new additions to the medical field. Your hard work and dedication has paid off! May you excel in your calling and bring honor to the King of Kings! New Doctor: Dra. Claire CelizNew nurses: Jan Chester Lema RN & Jason Estolas RN.
This was posted by http://timschmoyer.com on YouTube. He's a youth Pastor in the USA. Tim says: "While flying into Dallas last Saturday, I watched a recent interview on my laptop between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates at the All Things Digital conference. During the interview, both of them answered a question from a man in the audience who asked for advice about his company. The reply Steve Jobs gave reminded me exactly of youth ministry." This is a little tricky. Import.flv (2.5 MB)
This is a very late blog about CROSSLinC. A few weeks ago, on the tail end of summer, we had an overnight retreat with Julie F. and a whole day of fun under the hot summer sun at Club Manila East. Julie spoke about learning to set our boundaries centered on Scripture and our different personalities on Friday night. This was followed by Tribal Wars where the golf balls proved more challenging than they looked, then choco worms for dinner and finally sleep for those who could. the next day began as early as 5am for some. With our packed lunched we set off to CME for a day of boating, burning and waving. the day ended with us tired and a shade darker from when we started. This was fun, let's do it again! "Wave! Wave! Wave!" were the shouts that came from the wave pool area whenever the lifeguard popped his head out from the switch area. It sounded like shouts for V.I.P. Which I guess he was in a way since he had the power to make the wave happen. :D
